As a Jewish cyclist, I’ve met many people who are adventurers – for instance cyclists who ride from the North tip of Alaska to the Southern tip of South America. I even read about a paralyzed English woman who bicycled with her hands across the mountain pass from China to Pakistan. You don’t see people like this in the newspaper, but they have done amazing things. Being Jewish, I decided to concentrate in this blog on Jews who became known as great explorers, athletes and adventurers and heroes.
